Officers and Board of Directors
Give to the World is a 100% volunteer organization meaning that every donation has the maximum impact for those we serve. Our volunteer officers have diverse backgrounds and bring a wide variety of expertise to the organization from logistics to finance.

Devry Boughner Vorwerk is Founder and CEO of DevryBV Sustainable Strategies, a company that provides global strategic and advisory services to C-suite leaders in the areas of ESG and sustainability.
Scott Hayward

Scott Hayward is the Chief Executive Officer, member of the Board of Directors, and Partner of GMO, a global investment management firm headquartered in Boston.
Patrick Kelly

Patrick Kelly is Executive Vice President, Portfolio Manager and Head of Alger Capital Appreciation and Spectra Strategies.
Hamid Khan

Hamid M. Khan is currently a Senior Program Officer in the Rule of Law Center at the United States Institute of Peace where he works on various rule of law projects in Afghanistan and throughout the Islamic world.
Adnan Kifayat

Adnan Kifayat is a senior resident fellow at the German Marshall Fund (GMF), where he advises the organization on its efforts to strengthen leadership development and Next Generation strategies in the transatlantic region and its joint work in programming the OCP Policy Center Atlantic Fellowship in Europe, North Africa, and sub-Saharan Africa.

Rick Nelson is Principal at Syzygy Advisors LLC, which encompasses board, advisory board, and consulting positions in addition to private investments.
Paul Quinsee

Paul Quinsee is Managing Director and Global Head of Equities at J. P. Morgan. He was previously the Chief Investment Officer of U.S. Equity, a role that he assumed in 2003.
Melissa Stock
Executive Advisory Board
Melissa Stock served as the senior financial officer of Bancroft Global Development for fourteen years. She supervised accountancy, investment management, and financial reporting across the organization with annual budgets between $25MM and $30MM.
Louis Vasile
Executive Advisory Board
Rev. Louis Vasile is the Pastor of St. Alphonsus Parish, which provided more than 3000 lbs. of goods in one year alone for Give to the World for distribution to the neediest people of Afghanistan and the Middle East.

Eve Guernsey
Honoree
Eve Guernsey retired in October, 2010 from the position of Chief Executive Officer of JP Morgan Investment Management Americas, a position she held since 2002.
John Hamre
Honoree
John Hamre was elected president and CEO of CSIS in January 2000. Before joining CSIS, he served as the 26th U.S. deputy secretary of defense.
Dennis Kass
Honoree
Mr. Kass has been a director of Wendy's since December 2015. From February 2013 to June 2014, Mr. Kass served as Vice Chairman and a Senior Advisor at Ridgeway Partners, an executive search firm.
Ambassador Schlicher
Honoree
From 2005-2008, Schlicher served as U.S. Ambassador to Cyprus before returning to Washington to assume the position of Principal Deputy Assistant Coordinator of Counterterrorism.
